TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING
*Starts February 11th, 2020*
***This class requires a minimum of 4 participants pre-registered at least one hour prior to class in order for this class to hold***
What is TRX? TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core strength simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.
TRX is great for everyone! Whether you’re a beginner starting your fitness journey or looking to supplement yoga, running or build more strength.
Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities. **You will need a yoga mat for this class**
Get ready to burn fat, reduce stress and tone up by punching and kicking real heavy bags. We combine cardio, resistance and interval training to give you the most effective workout possible. Our fun and engaging group fitness classes keep the punches and kicks basic to focus on the fitness aspect of your workout. Since our kickboxing classes are for both beginner and advanced levels, each member can work out at their own pace. Please bring a yoga mat *Hand protection required*
**1st time kickboxers are required to pre-register online or contact The Studio directly to set up your 1st class**
LOW INTENSITY CLASS: Enjoy the same great kickboxing class with lower intensity and modified movements. Great for older adults, adults with previous injuries, or those just starting a fitness regimen.
This class is for:
* Participants who suffer from high blood pressure, anxiety, for those who have to lose 50+ pounds and would like to exercise at a steady yet gradual pace
* Men and women ages 55 and up. However, all ages 18 and up are welcome
* Those who have had previous injury and would like to gradually get back towards their fitness goals
Class not available at this time TEEN ONLY CLASSES: This class will be for ages 14-17 only. We ask that teens do NOT attend our adult classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Parent waiver must be signed IN PERSON at The Studio before student can participate. Just like our other classes at The Studio, registration is encouraged due to limited space of 10 participants per class.
Butts & Guts
The name says it all! This is the perfect class for clients of all fitness levels wishing to tone their legs, backside and abs. This booty blasting cardio quickie incorporates flowing movement with strength building exercises. This class focuses on lower body and abdominal toning, sculpting, and strengthening. During this upbeat 30-minute class, you will dance through easy to follow repetitions that target those stubborn areas. Butts and Guts was inspired by several different training techniques including ballet, gymnastics, yoga, HIIT, Pilates, and more. Combining these training techniques into a 30-minute series of movement, creates a unique fitness class that allows you to squeeze a quick, yet effective lower body work out in to your busy schedule. This class is so fun you’ll forget you’re working out. Please note this is a 30 minute class. Please bring your own yoga mat
