Amy Madrigal |POUND
I live, dream and eat fitness everyday! I fell in love with fitness at 17 years old. At this point in my life I get to share my passion with others who have the aspiration to become a better stronger version of themselves. I have three beautiful daughters and I am engaged to the man of my dreams. Although balancing family and a career may be tough at times, I strongly believe that finding time for yourself and your health is very important. Inspire you family and friends, lead by example!! You are worth the effort you put in!!

Diego Baccino and Abby Croteau began their tango education eight years ago in Montevideo, Uruguay – the lesser known birthplace of tango music and dance. Since then, they have continued learning with various world renown dancers in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Seattle, and Montana. Diego and Abby taught Argentine tango for three years at the Downtown Dance Collective in Missoula, MT – where they built a tango community to include various levels of classes and monthly social dances. Diego and Abby offer an authentic tango experience with dance instruction and cultural background. Now living in Carnation, Abby and Diego look forward to sharing tango with the Snoqualmie Valley community.

Small town life — I love it! I am locally grown, born in Salem Oregon and transplanted to Woodinville Washington at age 5. As a little girl I loved dancing, singing and joining in on things to fill passions and help others. I always raised my hand to join in! I danced Ballet and Jazz for over 15 years. After high school my continuing studies brought me to the University of Washington with a BA in Liberal Studies, American Ballet Theater – NYC for Ballet Instructor training, National Academy of Sports Medicine for Personal Training as well as many other fitness certifications. I have been living in Duvall, married with children, for 17 years. This valley encompasses everything great about small town life; artists, small businesses, close-knit community, great stories and people wanting to make a difference and help their neighbors.
I am excited to bring classes to The Studio in Carnation – starting with HIGH Fitness on Wednesday at 9:30 am and Friday at 6:30 am. I started teaching and training almost 9 years ago after recovering from an injury. I have worked with many in the community through Group Fitness Management and Personal Training at a local gym. I am currently learning about women, hormones and the aging body through IDEA Fit as well as expanding my expertise in a Non Profit Management Certificate program at the UW. I want to marry my love of fitness and passion for helping others to make a positive difference in our community. My goals are to help my clients gain strength, promote body awareness and self-confidence; help them reach goals and release whatever’s holding them back. I am excited to be at The Studio in Carnation and part of the wonderful wellness family in our valley. You can find out more at my website www.small-town-fitness.com

Chelsey Roberson | Owner-Personal Trainer
MixxedFit-Kickboxing-Hip Hop Step-Butts & Guts
I am absolutely thrilled to bring my vision of dance and dance fitness into our community and the Snoqualmie Valley. Born and raised in Cheyenne, WY my love for dance began at the age of 4. I participated in the usual children’s dance classes such as ballet, tap and jazz until about age 8 where my competitive nature came alive and I fell in love with sports. I have been an athlete in one way or another my whole life but I never quit dancing. About 5 years ago I reintegrated back into the dance world. My little girl dreams of being a choreographer (back then it was for stars like Britney Spears HAHA) erupted once again. Over the past few years I have been certified in a handful of dance formats and acquired my personal training license. I still cannot believe where this journey has taken me today, to owning and operating my very own studio!
My true passion lies in helping others reach their full potential and helping my clients find out all they are capable of. One of the greatest joys of my job is when someone tells me that I have changed their life, in one way or another, big or small. I strive to make people’s days better by bringing positive energy, thorough knowledge, and preparation to my classes. I do this for the smiles, the laughs and the confidence I see build through the people I work with. I do this knowing I can help someone overcome an injury or a medical set back. I do this because I love to connect with others on a deeper more intimate level. When you feel the most vulnerable and naked I am there not to judge but to open your eyes to your true beauty and strength. I do this to inspire others to be silly, have fun and be real. I do this because this is what I was born to do and who I am meant to be. I cannot wait to help you change your life through the power of dance and fitness!!!
