Amy Madrigal | POUND
I live, dream and eat fitness everyday! I fell in love with fitness at 17 years old. At this point in my life I get to share my passion with others who have the aspiration to become a better stronger version of themselves. I have three beautiful daughters and I am engaged to the man of my dreams. Although balancing family and a career may be tough at times, I strongly believe that finding time for yourself and your health is very important. Inspire you family and friends, lead by example!! You are worth the effort you put in!!

She trained in ancient (kahiko) and modern (auana) forms of hula, as well as Tahitian otea. For over ten years, McKenna performed as a soloist and with the other wahine in her troupe at concerts, festivals, hula exhibitions, and private events. McKenna has coached young dancers on technique, guided hula classes in Boulder, and taught hula fundamentals with the Hawaii Club at Colorado College. In addition to lifelong friends and a 10-syllable Hawaiian name (i.e., Alaka’i Pu’uwai Aloha), the hula community has provided McKenna a rich education in Hawaiian culture, language, history, and mythology. Diego Baccino & Abby Croteau | Tango
Diego Baccino and Abby Croteau began their tango education eight years ago in Montevideo, Uruguay – the lesser known birthplace of tango music and dance. Diego and Abby were fortunate to spend eight months learning “tango de salon” at one of the last traditional tanguerias in the region. Since then, they have continued learning with various world renown dancers in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Seattle, and Montana. Diego and Abby taught Argentine tango for three years at the Downtown Dance Collective in Missoula, MT – where they built a tango community to include various levels of classes and monthly social dances. Diego and Abby offer an authentic tango experience with dance instruction and cultural background. Now living in Carnation, Abby and Diego look forward to sharing tango with the Snoqualmie Valley community.

Uliani Kealoha Chung | HulaBlast
Island Girl-That’s what I am! I am a certified HOT HULA fitness instructor originally from the island of Oahu in Hawaii where I was born and raised. I currently live in Snohomish, and I have been teaching HOT HULA fitness since it was introduced to Washington state in 2012. I enjoy hula dancing and Polynesian culture as it has been a major influence in my upbringing and life experience in Hawaii. I continue to maintain my connection to hula and culture through my participation as a hula dancer with Hokulani’s Hula Studio and outrigger canoe paddling with Hui Wa’a O Puget Sound in Everett. HulaBlast is the perfect combination of my love for Polynesian culture and fitness. I am excited to share this class with everyone at The Studio.
Bob & Karlen |Beginner Partner Dance/Ballroom
Bob & Karlen teach locally and participate in the Seattle dance community and other venues around the country, eg, Portland, San Diego, New Orleans.
We love to share the joy of dance, especially with those who are just starting. Getting over the hurdle of “I can’t dance” doesn’t take long, and we have found anyone can learn. We take people from wanting to dance to loving dance and being confident with basic dance moves. We teach a variety of partner dances, including swing, blues, cha cha, salsa, waltz, zydeco and cajun. Dance is one of the best activities as it offers physical, social and mental benefits, and it is a great source of fun. Come join us!

DanceFit-Kickboxing-StepUp-Butts & Guts
I am absolutely thrilled to bring my vision of dance and dance fitness into our community and the Snoqualmie Valley. Born and raised in Cheyenne, WY my love for dance began at the age of 4. I participated in the usual children’s dance classes such as ballet, tap and jazz until about age 8 where my competitive nature came alive and I fell in love with sports. I have been an athlete in one way or another my whole life but I never quit dancing. In 2012 I reintegrated back into the dance world. My little girl dreams of being a choreographer (back then it was for stars like Britney Spears HAHA) erupted once again. Over the past few years I have been certified in a handful of dance formats and acquired my personal training license. I still cannot believe where this journey has taken me today, to owning and operating my very own studio!
My true passion lies in helping others reach their full potential and helping my clients find out all they are capable of. One of the greatest joys of my job is when someone tells me that I have changed their life, in one way or another, big or small. I strive to make people’s days better by bringing positive energy, thorough knowledge, and preparation to my classes. I do this for the smiles, the laughs and the confidence I see build through the people I work with. I do this knowing I can help someone overcome an injury or a medical set back. I do this because I love to connect with others on a deeper more intimate level. When you feel the most vulnerable and naked I am there not to judge but to open your eyes to your true beauty and strength. I do this to inspire others to be silly, have fun and be real. I do this because this is what I was born to do and who I am meant to be. I cannot wait to help you change your life through the power of dance and fitness!!!
